Shodhganga is a digital repository maintained by the INFLIBNET Centre (Information and Library Network Centre), an autonomous body under the UGC (University Grants Commission), India.
Shodhgangotri is a related initiative by INFLIBNET, where research scholars submit their approved synopses/research proposals before submitting their final thesis.
Based on the recommendation of an Expert Committee, the Ministry of HRD (now renamed as Ministry of Education) has formed e-ShodhSindhu merging three consortia initiatives, namely UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, NLIST and INDEST-AICTE Consortium.The e-ShodhSindhu will continue to provide current as well as archival access to more than 10,000 core and peer-reviewed journals and a number of bibliographic, citation and factual databases in different disciplines from a large number of publishers and aggregators to its member institutions including centrally-funded technical institutions, universities and colleges that are covered under 12(B) and 2(f) Sections of the UGC Act.
e-PG Pathshala is an initiative of the MHRD under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT) being executed by the UGC. The content and its quality being the key component of education system, high quality, curriculum-based, interactive e-content in 70 subjects across all disciplines of social sciences, arts, fine arts and humanities, natural & mathematical sciences.
The National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a project initiated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and developed by IIT Kharagpur.
